Inc. to design and develop a subscription-based
Web site for health and prevention educators.
The Web site should allow educators to access
information on critical health and prevention
issues, including curriculum programs, teachers’ guides,
worksheets, videos, literacy lessons, and extension
exercises.

a large and diverse team on the project.
The first step involved designing an intuitive,
user-friendly interface. This new interface
allows the user to access materials most
appropriate for his or her teaching setting.

functionality. Purple Monkey Studios worked collaboratively
with Discovery Education’s IT team
to integrate previously developed functionality
into the newly designed site, while, simultaneously,
designing and developing new page templates
and functionality necessary for the new site. |

Convert print materials. Purple Monkey
Studios converted print materials to useful
online resources, building both Web pages
and PDF documents. |

Seamless integration. Purple Monkey Studios
created new templates for all HTML and PDF
pages. Pouring all content into these new
templates allowed for more seamless integration
between newly developed materials and previously
designed content. |
