Welcome to the Purple Monkey Technical Support Pages.
These pages are intended to assist you in setting up your email
account with Purple Monkey Studios. On the left are the most common
email clients, although there are many others.
Before you begin, you will need the following five pieces of information,
provided by Purple Monkey.
1) Username
2) Password
3) email address
4) Incoming servername
(usually pop.<your domain>.com. For example,
pop.purplemonkey.com )
5) Outgoing servername
(usually smtp.<your domain>.com. For example,
smtp.purplemonkey.com )
If your company has a designated primary contact, the information
would most likely have been given to them.
Also, before beginning, you should verify that you have an operable
connection to the Internet. One common way to do this is to view
any webpage with a browser. Naturally, the email client will not
be able to send or recieve emails without this connection.
Support fees:
You may call and ask that we verify that your account is in order
for no fee at any time.
If you have a problem which turns out to be our fault, there is
no fee for the time spent on that problem.
If you prefer live assistance with setting up your email client
over using the help provided within these pages, the fees are $25
for every quarter hour with a minimum $25 fee.
